What did ping.fm do to my Google Chat client to break my ability to be invisible?
What did ping.fm do to my Google Chat client to break my ability to be invisible? I added GTalk to my ping.fm account for less than three minutes, now I can no longer go invisible on GChat even though I've deleted the information from ping.fm and changed my password. What happened and how can I fix it?

Inappropriate?The following steps seem to have fixed my problem.
1) Change my Google password.
2) Create new, throwaway Google account.
3) Add new account to ping.fm.
This transfers the "Oops, you're logged using an application that does not support invisibility" error message to the throwaway account.
I’m only slightly annoyed now.
