will the pro version allow the pre-designation between a blog, micro-blog, and status post (ping.fm groups) when scheduling, or will it automatically post to every ping.fm account?

Inappropriate?You can already use the custom triggers (now called "posting groups") you've created at Ping.fm. This will always be available to both free and Pro accounts. Does this answer your question?
