Still can't download the site .zip file, help!
I've been trying to get the zip file download function on your site to work for almost a week. I chose Rombla to build my site based on the zip function, spent a week putting the site together, and now cannot put it on my own server. We are a start-up non-profit, this site is critical and now we are behind.
This also does not bode well for the likelyhood that I will be able to keep my site updated and fresh. I've tried the link in Chrome, IE and FF, all return "page cannot be displayed" messages.
I really appreciate the open source effort and the generosity of making the sites available for source download, but if the function hasn't been working for better than three months, perhaps you should note this on the front page so that others don't wind up wasting precious time creating a site that can't download as advertised.
Help! I really need these files... thank you for your time.

The problem did appear to be too many large image files which was interfering with the zip operation. We are aware of this problem and are working towards a solution.
I have emailed you a copy of your site in the mean time.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Hi, Thanks for getting in touch with us.
As far as I'm aware zip functionality should be working on rombla.com. There has been an issue in the past with very large zip file downloads which could be the issue here.
I looked at our server, but the only site I could find associated with a thirdcoastguy is a blank site ( 445453544 ). If you could send me an email at richard {at} piria {dot} com with your site name (and username on rombla). I can look into the problem in more detail, and if we're really stuck email you a zipped up copy of the published site.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Richard, is there any way to delete the local images I've uploaded? I already have all of these on my hard drive and don't need them with the site files.
Thanks for all your help.

Inappropriate? We have full image library maintenence support coming in our next release. It's definitly an issue in the current version at our site.
Sorry it doesn't help you much in the meantime. -
Inappropriate?Good to know it's coming. Do you have a ballpark on the next release date?
IN the meantime, how big is to big for the site file to be zipped?
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I believe right now the maximum size is around 4mb.
I can't give a firm release date, aside from saying it should be out very soon! -
Inappropriate?Until then, would it be possible for you to purge the images I have already uploaded? I'll be more careful about how many and of what size I upload, if any at all. This way, I can continue to develop the site and update it without bugging you guys to get the zip.

Inappropriate?Yes I can. However I won't be able to purge them untill this evening at the earliest.
Thanks,
--Richard
