pivotal for fixed budget projects?
Hi guys,
great application - it's like a breeze compared to classic tracking tools!
we are a small company working for fixed-budget projects - so besides iterations planning and velocity we could really use a permanently displayed number: the percent of completed points from the total. (i know it's computable but.. it's not comfortable :D)
A thing that I don't know how to do: we have also fixed-deadline projects, so I would need to set some milestones/at least a final deadline. Then the tool should tell me how am I compared to the ideal overall graphic - and what the velocity should be, every week, to meet the deadline.
Is it possible?
(I sense that it is somewhat not perfectly aligned to the vision of the tool - but the job of the users is to keep asking for impossible features :D )

Inappropriate?Concerning deadlines: yes, Tracker lets you add a deadline to a release marker. Once you have a release with a deadline, the release will go red if you're projected not to meet the deadline; also, in the "charts" tab you can see a release burn-down chart. To set a deadline, first create a "release" story, then prioritize it in the backlog, and finally open it up and enter a deadline date.
