Blogger.com Uploads Aren't Working
The Blogger settings are a bit confusing. Moreover, I added http://l0ckergn0me.blogspot.com/ and the uploader claims to have published there, but nothing has shown up.

Inappropriate? We need to add tooltips ;)
- The "Display name" setting is just a name used on the site to help you differentiate amongst multiple accounts.
- The "Default..." setting when set to "Send" causes all new uploads to go to this destination unless you've added an "@destination" shortcut tag. If you set it to "Don't send" you can only upload to it by using a shortcut tag.
- The "Shortcut tag" setting allows you to specify the name of the "@destination" shortcut tag that you can add as a tag/keyword in an uploader.
- The "Post items..." setting allows you to either send images individually to a blog, or group them together into one blog post according to the chosen timeframe. (When there have been no more uploads from you after that time.)
Hope this clarifies the settings, if not let me know.
If an uploader application confirms an item as "uploaded" it just means our servers have received your file, you can only check that we have sent the file out to your destinations on the website.
Under "Recent Uploads→Processed for x destinations" does it not list your blogspot blog alongside the other default destinations you have that the file was sent to? If so that's definitely a bug, your upload should go to *all* your default destinations unless you used a @shortcut tag. - The "Display name" setting is just a name used on the site to help you differentiate amongst multiple accounts.

It Almost works at this point-- but my photo got posted to another Blogger blog that I maintain. I removed blogger as a destination and added it again, making sure I was selecting the right one. This time it posted to a third Blogger blog I contribute to. Grrrr. -
Inappropriate?Hey Jacob,
Thanks for the response.
My list of Blogger blogs, by default, are Displaying "www" for many of 'em - which makes it difficult to figure out which is which.
That, and... I'm still rather lost by your @destination conventions. It's kinda confusing. :)
I’m confident

Inappropriate? Thanks for the heads-up on the www naming issue, a fix for that will go out in the next update. You can manually change the display name to something more memorable if need be.
Is your issue with uploads not getting to blogger clarified/resolved?
The @destination convention is a bit like using "@name" and "d name" on Twitter...
First each destination/pipe needs to have a "name" that you can address—as a shortcut tag (prefixed with "@"): @shortcut-tag (You really want something short and easy to type.)
Then in your upload app, if you want to send to a specific destination, just add a tag/keyword with the corresponding destination's shortcut tag (i.e. @shortcut-tag). That's it. Your upload will only be sent to a destination with a matching shortcut tag.
If you want to send to multiple destinations other than your defaults, there's two ways you can do it:
A. Just add multiple tags when uploading: e.g. @destination1 @destination2
B. Give destinations the same shortcut tags (they don't have to be unique) to 'group' them together—when uploading adding @shortcut-tag will send to all destinations that have that same shortcut tag.
For extra flexibility you can add multiple shortcut tags for each destination. Just separate with commas; e.g. @[ destination1, public, private ] then using any of @destination1 @public or @private would send to that destination and any others with the same shortcut tag.
There's a further example on the blog. -
Inappropriate?Blogger uploads are still failing. Lots of these errors:
img_0023.jpg from p3basic to Blogger on 2008-10-08 10:50:20.0 failed to upload due to 13:Database Error)
Not sure where the point of failure is, though - and the @destination is still thoroughly confusing. :)
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?Maybe a similar problem... I'm trying to upload pictures to Blogger from my iPhone and it seems to work fine but I don't see anything in Blogger. Here is the message in Pixelpipe:
"You have 5 uploads (e.g. videos) that we have not been able to send anywhere, if you add a compatible destination (e.g. that supports videos) and then we’ll send them for you.
Uploads we've successfully sent to your destinations:
* img_0209.jpg uploaded from p3basic to Blogger at 2008-10-14 04:38:00.0 with id in 00:05:02 seconds.
* img_0212.jpg uploaded from p3basic to Blogger at 2008-10-14 04:38:00.0 with id in 00:05:14 seconds.
* img_0211.jpg uploaded from p3basic to Blogger at 2008-10-14 04:38:00.0 with id in 00:05:31 seconds.
* img_0213.jpg uploaded from p3basic to Blogger at 2008-10-14 04:38:00.0 with id in 00:05:48 seconds.
* img_0216.jpg uploaded from p3basic to Blogger at 2008-10-14 04:38:00.0 with id in 00:06:10 seconds."
I have only one target which is this new blog: http://jl-tranchesdevie.blogspot.com/ and I have ulpoaded 5 pictures, all visible in Pixelpipe. I have no idea why the message mentions videos but the real problem is that I don't see the pictures in Blogger even after waiting a long time.
