PixelPipe for Android to Blogger: this item has not been sent anywhere...?
Uploads we've recently received from you (3 total)
[Brand new to the phone, brand new to PixelPipe -- sent one photo last week to blog to test, no problem. Sent a set of photos today, got error message on Recent Uploads page. Sent again. Same error message -- the succesful posting last week and the two that resulted in the following message account for the three received uploads]:
Received 2009-08-13 10:13
Processed for 0 destinations.
This item has not been sent anywhere. Perhaps 'Upload by default' is not enabled for any of your destinations, or you didn't add a routing tag that matched one?
[I did use tags -- it was the only way I could see to post multiple photos -- and I double checked on the second try. On the My Pipes page, it shows an option to click to disable default, so I assume my default is set. My settings are as follows]:
Default for new uploads: Send
Shortcut tag @blogger
Post items: together after 5 minutes
Auto-rotate images when sending (JPEG only)
It's been at least an hour since I tried to post. No photos are showing up either on my blog or on PixelPipe's Uploads Received page.
Someone reported this exact problem about a month ago and PixelPipe tweaked something, the guy posted his photos and it was marked as solved. Apparently it's unsolved itself.
Help?

Inappropriate? It sounds as though your uploads haven't made it off of the phone and to our servers yet. You may want to check the queue dialog in our application and verify your uploads are not still transferring. You're on an Android phone, right?
-
Inappropriate?Yep, I'm on an Android phone.
There's nothing in the queue, and the fact that the Uploads Received page shows you've received three but only actually posted one leads me to believe that my two attempts to post today did make it to PixelPipe, just not to my blog. -
Inappropriate? And the fact that I had a message that said, "This item has not been sent anywhere. Perhaps 'Upload by default' is not enabled for any of your destinations, or you didn't add a routing tag that matched one?"
-
Inappropriate?Oops, sorry I missed the mention of Android in title ;)
Go ahead and send us the email address associated with your account to contact@pixelpipe.com and we'll have a look. -
Inappropriate? That's OK. There were a lot of words in there. I don't do anything halfway.
Email sent -- thanks for your help!
I’m hopeful and thankful

Inappropriate?Look, I started all over again and the damned thing won't let me change the tags (no way to select or cut the whole tag field, no way even to reposition the cursor and delete the default sample tags), so it said it posted the photos to Facebook, which is not what I wanted. Funny thing is, it didn't post to Facebook either -- just my title, not the pictures.
It appears I need to go find new photo-posting software for my Android phone.
I’m frustrated and impatient

Inappropriate?Just use the directional pad/ball to change the cursor position, it's really easy to edit text on an Android phone. Then just enter @blogger in as a tag or set it as a default upload and don't worry about routing tags.
We have an update coming out later in the week that'll make this much easier btw. -
Inappropriate? Not really the issue. Pictures still won't go where they're supposed to go. The very first time, it worked. The second time, PixelPipe told me my pictures didn't go anywhere. The third through eight times, nothing at all happened. The ninth time, it said it sent the photos to Facebook, which brings up two problems: they were tagged for Blogger, they were sent to Blogger (according to my settings), but PixelPipe decided to send them to Facebook. I'm willing to admit it may be user error on that, but when I went to Facebook, the pictures weren't there either -- just my title.
Does the "use the ball" response answer any of these issues?
