Pixelpipe not detecting video; only images
I've installed and reinstalled PixelPipe 1.4 a couple of times and it just won't detect video. Images show up fine. I've got PPVideoEnabler set to 'on' and it still doesn't find my video taken from Cycorder. Please help!

Inappropriate?they show up in order taken ... so if you have old videos on the phone they are at the bottom... (in my case they don't have pictures or previews) ... just the name of the video....
I’m yeah
-
Inappropriate? My videos are no where in my list of images. They're not even at the bottom of the list.
-
Inappropriate?Same here. Even when taking a new test video -- which should show up at the top -- nothing is listed. No video whatsoever.
-
Inappropriate?Have this same problem, tried to reinstall, tried to reinstall the ppvideo enabler app. All no luck.
wish i could go back to the previous version.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?i'm sorry about my comment above...but.. you guys are right.... I didn't notice that it was a new version (1.4) that you were talking about.....
so yes... videos are not detected....
I’m sorry
-
So are you saying that video will no longer be recognized by Pixelpipe?? -
Inappropriate?Yep, same here... also the setup is not very user friendly.
I’m waiting for an answer -- how can this be something that wasn't caught in testing?
-
Inappropriate?the videos are not on the list at all... never were for me -- but I only ever tried tonight and it was version 1.4....
I’m hoping that jiwenerga can help
-
Inappropriate?Me too. Nothing from cycorder. Videos from iphone video recorder show up, but as photos
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? On top of that, when I went back to my cycorder video list, all my videos were gone....CRAP
-
Inappropriate?^ that's crappy... I don't have that problem though... did you do anything else like update your firmware or something? I think what pixel pipe does is move some type of system pointer --- so worst case SHOULD be that your files are still on your phone "somewhere". If you know how, try to connect and search for *.MOV files; hopefully they are there just moved to somewhere else other than CYCORDER's default directory.
I’m hoping you didn't loose them all--- that would be really upsetting to me as I have some video on there that could never be replaced.

Inappropriate?@Jason: Try the program DiskAid. It can connect to your iPhone's folder structure,. so it's very easy for you to copy your movies from CyCorder to your Mac/PC, so you will have at least a backup.

Inappropriate?BTW: I've got the same problem here with Cycorder and PixelPipe: No videos anymore in v1.4 of PixelPipe. HEELLLLLPPP!!
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? We have a fix for the issue you were experiencing with Cycorder videos not being recognized on the iPhone. We've also added the ability to upload video files up to 200MB directly from the iPhone without issue. If you'd like to join the beta test we'll just need your iPhone's UUID.
Here's how to obtain your UUID:
- Open iTunes and tether your iPhone over USB
- Select the iPhone in your device list (this should display the summary page)
- Find the text "Serial Number" and click on it (switching the field to read "Identifier" - this is your iPhone's UUID)
- Double-click on the Identifier string and copy the string by pressing Command + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (PC)
- Send us the UUID to beta@pixelpipe.com and we'll get you out our latest beta release
-
Inappropriate?I've emailed my UUID.
I've still not received anything, not even an automated email.
when are we to receive this beta?
I’m anxious
-
Inappropriate? When can we expect the new version of Pixelpipe to hit the app store? My iPhone would not recognize/load the beta version and I anxiously await the ability to share video.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?New versión is out already, but it still isn't working for me.
I've installed 1.4.1, upgraded to OS 3.0, jailbroken and instaled PPVideoEnabler, but videos aren't showing.
May this have something to do with the fact that I had PPVideoEnabler BEFORE de OS 3.0 upgrade, and the restored?
Maybe in that case directory changes aren't working right...
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? You just need to install Pixelpipe 1.4.1 from the iPhone app store to get access to your Cycorder videos again. If you're still having issues uninstall Cycorder and PPVideoEnabler and reinstall from Cydia.
-
Still not working. Downloaded 1.4.2 from itunes. -
Inappropriate?I installed Pixelpipe 1.4.2 on a jailbroken 3G 3.0.
Reinstalling Cycorder and PPVideoEnabler via Cydia worked.
Pixelpipe detected the videos I recorded with Cycorder.
Don't forget to turn the switch to 'I' in PPVideoEnabler.
I’m excited
-
How do you switch to 'I' in PPVideoEnabler? -
Inappropriate?I finally figured it out! You can keep Cycorder installed, but uninstall Pixelpipe and ppvideoenabler. Next, go back and install Pixelpipe FIRST, then install ppvideoenabler SECOND via Cydia. Your videos should now show up in Pixelpipe.
I’m very excited!
