I copied/pasted the code from the embed share option form one of my images into a web page I'm putting together, and my thumbnail is pretty big and no zooming.
I gather from looking at the embed code that I should have css along with this to get the styling right..any examples? Or is this only meant to be used with certain services that already understand the thumbnail tag?
everytime I launch Skitch it just bounces in the dock for a minute and then unexpectedly quits with an error. it has not worked in over a month. i tried reinstalling and deleting preferences, etc. any ideas? i really miss having it!
I cannot get a picture from my iCam. The green light comes on and I get the countdown and sound acknowledgement but nothing appears in the Skitch window.
When snapping a window (click snap then click on a window), with drawer attached, it only takes main window into account. When I click on the drawer, it only snaps the drawer.
Is there anyway to snap both the drawer and the window with a click?
The "My Twitter" option will not allow me to change my password. When I attempt to make a change it gives me an "invalid username/password" error and reverts to the previous login info.
I never received the sign up verification email. I can't log in, and I don't want to try to create anther account and loose my first choice username. can the verification email be resent?
for me each snap ends up on its own. it would be great if i could take one snap and then past a 2nd one smaller on top of the first one. or arrage a couple of snaps to a collage! is this possible?
However, I do have one small request. I would like to see that the url does not include the username in the path as sometimes I would like to share a screenshot without having to reveal too much information.
Oh and I would like a Windows version pls. I find myself on Windows doing cmd+shift+5 sometimes and wondering why it does not work. =)
For the last few days, Skitch has become "impossible-to-use" slow. It is using 98-99 under the CPU column in Activity monitor. I've tried restarting my computer a few times, no dice.
Running:
Skitch 1.0b7 (v77)
MacBook Pro / MacOSX 10.5.5
The slowness occurs from the very start of Skitch--I've had to disable loading it on login because it was slowing my machine way down. It makes taking snaps painful, all animations of Skitch appearing and disappearing are now taking nearly a minute, and it's affecting the overall performance of my machine.
The strange thing is that I upgrade to this latest version when it came out (I think a couple of weeks ago now?), yet the problem only appeared in the last couple of days.
I want to use SFTP uploading in Skitch, but it seems to demand a password instead of supporting SSH keys (public/private). Is this planned in a later release, or can I make it happen somehow?
I like the ability to upload to multiple servers. :-) I'm trying to get tech support from Western Digital and found it humorous that the images I posted for them in my troubleshooting correspondence on my WD TV tech support issue, they said they can't see them because they block skitch.com servers. I understand companies blocking youtube.com and the like, but skitch.com seemed a bit far fetched and over reaching. I published to my private server and they could see it. Thanks for a great image posting tool!
