As soon as I "WebPost" an item, I frequently want to immediately share that URL with someone.
The workflow I have now is to click "Share" to load the URL in the browser, and then copy the URL to the clipboard and paste it in an IM window or such.
If it were possible to have the WebPost'ed URL automatically put on the clipboard after sharing, that'd rock!!
Whenever I do a Webpost, if I want the page or image URL I have to open the web page and then copy from the right text box. This isn't too bad and it's far easier than what I was doing prior to Skitch.
However, it would save me more time and mental overload if I could just copy the URL from a dropdown in the Skitch application itself ("Copy image URL to clipboard"). It would remove a bunch of friction from this process.
It would be awesome if I could put images into folders or have some way of grouping images so I don't have to browse through them all to find the one I'm looking for.
It would be great if there was a 'Take screenshot of current web page' feature in Skitch (with a hot key to implement it).
Where it would take a screenshot of the web page full length (i.e. longer than the monitor/screen) without the surrounding browser window. Like Paparazzi! but with the existing ability in Skitch to upload the screenshot straight to Flickr.
This would also be even more useful if there was a window in Skitch where you could add tags, add to sets/collection etc. for Flickr before uploading (suggested before).
I'm constantly uploading things from Skitch & find it really handy.
What I'd find really useful would be once you've clicked 'webpost to Flickr' the Skitch window flips around to show a 'Flickr info/organise window' where you could add tags, add to an existing set/collection, description, groups etc. (Kinda like the FlickrExport iPhoto plug-in but for Skitch).
Also an option to alter the tag Skitch automatically adds (I just want it to say skitch in lowercase :) ).
I used skitch to notify bug on projet I work on ! Actually all the printscreen are over the similar directory, so it's all mixed and hard to find printscreen from a dedicated project.
Similar to how holding control when painting uses the eraser, right clicking should similarly erase, or possibly let you draw in a different color. Most other drawing programs have this, so I don't see why not.
Since lots of people out there use Gmail, and it's "conversation" e-mail grouping is awesome, why not take advantage of this and use a consistent e-mail subject (this is what really matters when gmail tries to group messages, apart from sender) when sending notifications?
It would allow, for example, that the "modifications to a image" e-mails sent by Skitch become grouped (perhaps by image?).
Even for those who don't use Gmail, this makes easier to filter, for example.
