Command-w should close the skitch window. This would be much more useful than the current behavior of just making the beep sound.
command-h and command-m aren't the same thing, though they behave the same way since there is only one window.

Let's say I'd like to cancel a capture I've made because I've done something wrong. How can I close this particular capture without saving it? Command + W is the keyboard shortcut in every other Mac application I've used.
Why am I looking for this particular keyboard shortcut? Well, I looked for a close or cancel button and didn't see one. Maybe it's there, but it's now where it is in every single other Mac application I use.
(Maybe coming up with your own UI isn't the best thing.)
