My Skitch App stopped working
everytime I launch Skitch it just bounces in the dock for a minute and then unexpectedly quits with an error. it has not worked in over a month. i tried reinstalling and deleting preferences, etc. any ideas? i really miss having it!

Inappropriate?I am having this same issue. Working fine yesterday ... now just crashes after updating. I tried reinstalling still crashes. Removed the program and all associated files including preferences and reinstalled. Still crashing. running Mac OS X 10.4.11, on an ibook g4. -
Inappropriate?1) Remove software application;
2) (Finder) Go to /Applications -> Utilities
3) In Utilitties folder run Keychain Access.app
4) In Left window select Keys ..
5) In rigth window select all 'skitch' keys and delete with 'Del back key'
6) Re-install the Skitch application again and follow the application usual procedures.
7) That's the end. I did have solved my problem as described above.

Didn't help...there weren't even any skitch keys to delete. -

Here's what I got from Plasq tech. support:
When I tried to launch Skitch today, it said that the beta has expired and I needed a new version. I did the update, but after it relaunched, I got the same message. When I clicked on the "Check for updates" button, it said I have the latest version but it won't get past the "Beta has expired" screen.
Have tried uninstalling, deleting prefs files, and the usual fixes, but no luck.
I'm using 10.4.11.

They sent me a URL, and when I installed from there, it worked. I can't find the URL now though - must have deleted it.

Inappropriate?Up untill now, updates did not help me solve this problem. I had to without Skitch at my work Mac. Boohoo!
But as off today, since I installed the latest update, Skitch works again. Woohoo!

Inappropriate?I had the same issue, found that I needed to delete the plasq folder from user-library-application support as well as the application itself before re-installing. Then, it worked.
