skitch.com API
It would be nice if you guides can provide some skitch.com API. For example: fetch the direct image URL from secret URL

Inappropriate? We are pondering an API. What other things would you like to see in the API?
-
Inappropriate? Our primary API wishlist is to have the ability to specify a custom Web post plug-in like the Flickr , .Mac, FTP web post plugins but to post to a custom system with a custom preference pane for data required for that system (like OAuth credentials etc)
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Just simple retrieval would be really nice. As I mentioned earlier, with a view url [1] get direct image url [2] and vice-versa.

[2]: http://img.skitch.com/20090104-m19b5s...
And I also support Sarat's idea

Inappropriate? It would also be nice to have delete functionality in the API. I end up dumping a bunch of "throw away" screenshots on skitch, and deleting them all one by one is a huge pain. I'd love to build a nifty little GUI utility to select a bunch of images, copy urls, visit them, email them, delete them, etc.
An added bonus would be a way to retrieve image comments via the API. This could aid in developing embeddable widgets for blogs, facebook, etc.
Thanks for a great product! -
Inappropriate? My request is for a client-side API, which would allow me to upload the file to a given application: i.e. I'd love to be able to upload an image to Confluence, I would need to select the Space and page on which the attachment is to be loaded. I would need to configure my credentials.
I guess asking for a Confluence-upload plugin would be easier but if you guys provide the API, we could figure out the rest ;-)

Inappropriate?I love the idea of an API.
Would allow us to create third-party apps that enable people to easily share their images in collective communities, and endless amounts of other ideas.

Inappropriate?i second Travis' opinion. skitch could become the weapon of choice for image hosting with comments in collective communities, etc...
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Like groups in flickr?

Inappropriate?Either an API or an XML-RPC "weblog" protocol for posting to Wordpress, etc., would be grand. Reduces path from idea and illustration to my blog.
Also, with XML-RPC, I could see some really tight CMS integrations, and dream up some crazy fun workflows for people to play with. Please take this to the next level: I want to play!
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Seeing that this question is about a year old, I hope you are still considering to create API access.
One particular feature that I am looking for is :
- Posting a new image to your account
I’m sad
