Why can't I setup with OpenID credentials?
I set up my skitch account using myopenid and downloaded the software. when i opened the skitch to set up and use it for the first time, it prompts me for my email and password.
the instructions (on site and in the account info email from you) say to use the openID URL and the password provided (string of numbers and letters). i used both of those, but it's telling me "invalid username/password (1)". for the heck of it i tried my email and the password i have on OpenID, and combinations of the above, and nothing worked.
now i'm stuck and can't set up/log in to the software. help, please!

Log in to our website, then go to settings, openid, and reenter your OpenID.
It might be that some keys have been stuffed up somehow. Also, make sure to type the auth information into the application EXACTLY as provided in the OpenID settings screen.

it's not the browser setup i'm having a problem with; it's using the software for the first time.
i downloaded the software and the first time i open it, it prompts me for my email and password. the instructions from skitch tell me to use my openID URL and a long password, which didn't work (giving above error). i also tried the email and password for my openID account, but that didn't work either. i'd give you a screenshot, but my skitch isn't working. ;-)
does that make sense? -
Inappropriate?I'm having the same issues. I had accidentally logged in with my yahoo openid but then saw that google's was available so i switched but none of them work now. Any clue anyone ? -

Inappropriate?My desktop uploading to http://skitch.com/myaccount/ is also no longer working.
I have changed only two thins in the last week:
1) upgraded to the latest version when my beta expired.
2) started using openID. I am using the new login configs for this "Configuring the Skitch desktop application" "When configuring Skitch and you are asked for email and password, use these details to authorize using your OpenID:"
but I still get this error message:

There was a problem when Skitch tried to upload the file to the server. Please check your "directory" setting.
Then I am giving an option to look at the webpost preferences which I have tired both my openID confif information with the long random pw and the openid url and also my email and pw. I have changed both my regular pw and also set a new openID.
If there is any way I could just remove the OpenID preference in my account I could test it the old way. But I don't see how to remove an OpenID. Anyone else having this issue?
