Seeking Beta testers who are running iPhone OS 2.0, have iTunes 7.7 and want to help bring Platial to the iPhone in a big way.
We have limited number of provisioning profiles to share with people willing to really put this app to the test. Send me your iPhone's unique id (if you click on the "serial number" label in iTunes for the device, it will toggle to show the unique identifier, then double click the id (it won't look like it's highlighted, but it is copyable), along with a short intro (if you are a developer, a current Platial member, have done QA or beta testing before, where you live, etc), and I'll send you the app. (be sure to include email address).
There is a way to update the skyhook wireless location database (to solve issues where the iPhone, or iPod Touch thinks you are in the location of a previous residence of office).
Ok here it goes, I bought a Itouch in Michigan and it shows that location on Maps as it has a circle around my old home. I do not know how to reset it to indicate my current location. Which messes up in apps I buy because they show old location. Please help!
Development is underway, finalizing assets and creative, working on a QA plan, then the submission happens! I have already been spending HOURS staring at the content, it's sooo great, so much fun. Can't wait to really have this out and about on the streets.
I am trying to locate myself on the application loaded to my iPod Touch. However it cannot find a city like Rio de Janeiro. So I cannot locate myself.
Is iTouch supported ?
If so, how do I start using the application ?
Delete other people items saved in my maps with IPhone

But how to remove a place from my map I have saved from another person using my IPhone?
There is not "delete" option when editing them in Platial.

I've got a couple of maps now and I would like to rename the first one (http://platial.com/map/The-places-I-v...) and add to the description. I'm able to edit the other maps I've made but when I click on "edit" when I open this map, nothing happens.
Why can't i edit my map, i.e. the colors of place-pins, descriptor, etc.? When i'm logged in (Platial.com) and click "settings" (from the dashboard) or "edit" (from the map options)-- nothing at all happens. this has been the case for a while, actually. either my browser doesn't pull up a new page OR it pulls up a blank page.

we use a platial map in a project and this project has finished. Now, we need to close this map but is not possible! We can close/open another map created later but in the first we can't edit or enter to settings!

hi, I wondered how people find platial maps? Do they come up in search engines? One of my maps Spa Around the World in Eighty Days has over 600 views and I wondered how folks are finding it.
I am using a Touch. My home location is dead on. There are several markers near my home. Some are bunched together. I tried to pinch to zoom but I could not get it to work. What stupid thing am I doing wrong to zoom in to separate the markers that are next to each other?
When I add markers in Platial, the actual placement is not always very accurate. Even when I've got the map view at 100%, markers are sometimes way off. In the iphone version, I can move the map to place the marker accurately so why can't I do this in Platial? Every other mapping programme that I use allows me to adjust the placement of the marker. At times, i've just given up trying to add markers via my laptop because of the inaccuracy.
