all my tacks turned grey and I'm locked out
After setting up three custom color tacks, all my nice teal tacks turned ugly grey. Then when I try to reedit the map details -- the window closes as soon as I hit the edit link. Please just get me back to square one, delete the custom tacks I didnt even use them. Let me edit my map details again. Thanks. User account wjcroft . Map is sf-music-imp.

Inappropriate?Sorry about flaking on this problem, almost everyone was on vacation or moving this last week.
There has been a problem with editing of custom category maps (custom markers) that has been hard to pin down.
But, I go to your map http://platial.com/map/sf-music-imp/4... and see the custom colored markers just fine (not grey).
Did it fix itself? -
Inappropriate?Jason, hi. Sorry, but the response from tech support took so long that we abandoned Platial and moved our map to vanilla Google MyMaps, as the note on our old Platial map explains.
The single pin on the Platial map contains that "we moved" message. So yes, the custom map pin does look correct. You missed the 20 or so other pins that I deleted which were grey. They used to be teal.
And... I just went to my Platial map page, and I STILL CANNOT use the "map details" link at top of my map. When I click this I get the normal details window. But when I click "edit" inside that window, everything disappears. In other words, I cannot edit my map details. This seems to be some artifact of the custom map pins, since I could edit it just fine before that change.
In any event, sorry to bother you, but this map is now defunct. Go ahead and delete it if you want. -
yeah, i'm not directly involved in that particular bug, but i'm not totally surprised it's still alive. sorry about that.
