browser BACK button mal-function in friend invitation
Closed Beta - clicked into just found presumably-colleague profile URL, then clicked into INVITE button, got him invited, then seen another colleague (known IRL) and invited her too, and then pushed on button BACK... ooops, RE-invited previous colleague AGAIN! Browser is current stable FF 2.0.0.14

Inappropriate?Actually our closed beta platform is not sending any invitation or notification to other users because it's meant to be just a test environment only user invited by the Plazes crew have access to: your friends didn't probably receive any invite by you.
However, this might be a warning for a bug anyway, which is why we are going to double check this feature before the official launch.

This solves the problem

so probably it was your closed beta platform and testers running tests, which replied with certain delay with mail like this (I have also mail headers, just in case, with closed beta domain name as ESMTP source - sorry, I tend to be a bit P.I.T.A. when it comes to reality test)... and then later was another name who got it... but not all of invited, only two?

ok, just tested current plazes content - they were still NOT connected :-/ reinivited them and I will ask at least one of them tomorrow at work, how many invites he got :)
