Hi Brandom,
in the next release we do not offer to collect points because users can now create new plazes even if they do not have a wifi connection.
It will be then too easy to discover and create new plazes and the competition will not make any sense.
However, I feel your disappointment and I can assure you we are still thinking how to introduce the karma points back.
I'm sure you will anyway share our excitement for the new release and we will let you know when you may use your points again.

Inappropriate?Don't worry, the travel speed point will have soon their comeback :-) We are currently putting our efforts on the usability of the site. All the other features will be added later.
