The flood filter added recently is getting highly annoying. I thought the whole point of plurk was to have a conversation. Sometimes you cannot say everything in just 140 characters, or even triple that, if you're trying to convey a concise thought that doesn't confuse everyone.
I think it needs a rework, if not a complete and total removal. It's blocking legitimate users more than anything else.
There are already several plurks in complaint with this:

Every time I click the My Plurks, Private or Responded tab on my new laptop, it shows them correctly for a split second, then simply diverts back to the main timeline.
So far, the only option to find new replies to existing plurks is to go to each one individually and find them. In addition, the "sound notification off" option does not remain off after a refresh, which is needed at the moment to see any plurk updates.
Yesterday I tried to write a plurk and it didn't show up. After refreshing several times and logging out and back in, I can see it but if I click on "Responded" or "My plurks" it disappears again. On the "My profile view" it shows up as "Yesterday at 9PM" but when I hover over it, it says it was written at 1:55 AM.
Plurk is improperly translating a photoset URL into a photo thumbnail (sometimes).
Your translation seems to only look for the numeric string and consider it to be a photo-id. but many flickr URLS have a numeric string that represents a different object (such as sets). This causes plurk to fetch a thumbnail for a matching photo-id (if it exists), if not it just displays a normal linked text.
Would be NICE to detect set urls separately and do API call to get the primary photo id for the set and display that as the inline graphic.
On Sunday, October 26, 2008 (in US time zones) new Plurks are not appearing in the timeline unless you go to the Plurking users timeline and respond to them. For this reason, there are very few new Plurks in the timeline, and very few responses as well. This has been going on for several hours, as of 2:00 CDT, United States.
I have a pocket PC and a smart phone both running Windows Mobile 5. I can view and post plurks, but any time I post a reply to a plurk, I get redirected to an "Oops! Not found" page and the reply never posts. The Opera browser seems to be capable of posting a reply, but the load times between pages are immense.
"Stack Overflow at line 2" when I click the radio button to send a private plurk. It also shows me that the whole world option is still selected as well as the private plurk option being selected.
