I am trying to access my plurk account and continue to go to my page and it tell me that "Register your plurk account to follow these plurks"...its my page, what is going on. I have tried to email several times and continue to get problems. Can someone help please? My friends are able to log in but I cant. Thank you.
"Custom timeline tabs" are custom tabs, like "smart playlists" in iTunes or "smart groups" in other programs, which display plurks that follow certain rules. For example, making a "best friends" tab and a "family tab" as seen below:
...will display plurks from family members on Plurk and plurks from best friends on Plurk. Another example is a tab called "Spore plurks" which would display any plurk available to the user that contains the word "Spore", like a live search.
P.S.: The above example was made in Safari by using a WYSIWYG-transforming bookmarklet.
Responded Plurks Tab was a great idea. But before you implemented that, I thought it would be great to have Plurks I started or participated in "rise" to the top of the timeline, while others fall below the center line. http://www.plurk.com/p/2qy9d
Somehow, can plurks with @ messages to me show up higher on the bar, as well as messages from people that I tend to plurk to/respond to often? Friends that I interact with or don't message me directly will fall to basement on timeline.
I have set my privacy setting revel "only I can view", on 9th September. But, my friend said yesterday, my plurk still can see, just only he could not open my reply_box. Why ?
why if I try to remove someone from my friends list (someone I'm a fan of) it doesn't do it. I accept, it is removed from the list but when I enter the friend list again it's there. The "remove" option does nothing at all.
Sometimes when I am viewing just my plurks, I need to go look at someone else's page. It would be nice if Plurk recognized that I wasn't looking at my page and automatically changed the filter back to all the plurks.
(Actually, it might be a bug - I have noticed that getting into this situation always seems to cause an IE browser hang.)
Friends and My Plurks shows fans as well. It appears there's an oversite in not having a view fans plurks section. I want to follow some people's plurks, but, when I'm browsing, not when looking at my timeline. I want to be able to organize my timeline better, also, in my friends.... it seems clicking timeline follow 'off' removes them. I don't want to -REMOVE- people from my friends or fans list, I just want to temporarily toggle their display on my timeline off, please fix.
i have removed the "follow" from certain friends due to very high activity on their plurks, however, it appears as if my timeline is still following theirs. based on the options on the page, it looks like it IS possible to friend someone and yet not follow their timeline. is this true? or am i misguided by what appears to be available options? i suppose i could unfriend them, but i'd like for them to be included in my filters, and i would like to remain the know with their timelines. i have tried following and then un-following them... this does clear all of their earlier plurks from my timeline.. but then when they submit new plurks, it appears on my timeline again. out of the 3 friends i have unfollowed, only 1 of them was fully successful from quite a while ago.
