"Back to Start" Why not "Back to Oldest"?
Something that would be helpful is if there were a feature/button similar to "Back to Start" for the timeline that was "Back to oldest" when viewing new plurks/responses. Having to try and scroll back in time when you wake up and have 250+ responses or new plurks is really time consuming and annoying.

Inappropriate?Definitely worth having it's own request I think, but also mentioned in this more general timeline UI topic, might want to follow both.

Inappropriate? It seems plurk responded to this with a change (an unexpected one). The "new responses" now default you to the oldest one in the batch. While perhaps logical... i'm sure some plurkers have settled on doing it newest first and are not liking this new default.
Why not just implement this idea to begin with? Seems it would satisfy both groups with minimal clicking required (1 extra click if the default is not your preferred method).
I don't like the change because it's a reversal, not a compromise.

Inappropriate?I liked when "view new responses" sent you back to the oldest. That feature disappeared pretty quickly. Any chance of making that an option?

Inappropriate?I would like to have a button added on the top of the right navigation arrow that allows the plurker to move to the end of the response plurks. I like to read from oldest to newest plurks. I like the buttons on the bottom of the arrows that allow you to go to be beginning of the timeline, I just would like one on the top that lets you move the the end of the time line.
