aack! my apostrophes!
I've got a slight problem: when I'm linking to a web page in a plurk (topic or response), any apostrophes in the alt text disappear.
e.g.: http://paste.plurk.com/show/13787 (a thought I've been having for a while) turns into "a thought Ive been having for a while".
Haven't tried it with any other punctuation to see if it's a problem. The apostrophe's still there when I attempt to edit it back in, too.

Inappropriate?I'm having this happen to and to be short, it makes me feel less intelligent, and it looks sloppy. I know it's a simple coding error, but this problem didn't always exist, and now I'm finding myself to have to edit my Plurks often to make them look less cluttered and sloppy as a result of this.

Inappropriate?I don't understand why this is suddenly a problem now when it wasn't before. I agree that it does make us Plurkers look like sloppy writers.

Inappropriate?http://www.plurk.com/p/1iexpc I have the same problem with apostrophes and speech marks.

Inappropriate? You can (sort of) work around this by using typographer's quotes: “ ” ‘ ’ but it's a PITA—and I imagine harder for Linux and Windows users who don't have easy access to the characters. It frustrates me as well because it seems to perpetuate the sort of lazy writing becoming more common thanks to texting.
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?Bumping this up in the hope that someone from Plurk will listen and address the problem. Not showing apostrophes and quotes in link text makes writers look illiterate.
