An idea to lock older Plurks
I would love to see an option to lock older Plurks. I've noticed some some Plurks that are a month old (at least) that get bumped.

Inappropriate? If they're yours, can't you just delete them? If they're not yours, it isn't really your place to lock them I think? There are a couple LONG running plurks from June/July that have thousands of responses we still have a lot of fun with.
I’m not in agreement

Inappropriate? All right, I'll put it this way--let's say you ask a question, and you get it answered. Instead of deleting it, lock your own Plurk. I didn't mean to lock others' but your own. I don't care to delete Plurks, so having the option to lock it so there aren't any more responses would help.
I’m meh.

Inappropriate?I think I get what you mean, but I'm not sure why you would want to do it. Although your question gets answered, what if you have a followup to it? Or someone else asks for an update? I don't delete plurks either, but other than someone bringing an old plurk I'm embarrassed about (which I would probably delete) if someone brings one back and says "see - THIS is what I meant" or "Wow - this solved my problem as well" - I guess the one place I would support this would be if I had a big problem with plurkspammers coming and nailing old plurks on my timeline randomly. But so far that hasn't been a big problem (at least for me?) And then I would probably take my timeline private to just friends, and I don't mind if friends bring back old plurks.
Anyhow - this discussion will at least keep your idea at the top of GetSatisfaction for a few days. ;) I would tend not to want to lock my plurks, but I guess I don't care if you lock yours? (Although it would be another database point to keep, and perhaps a few moments of frustration if I tried to plurk on a locked plurk?) Guess I'm just not real warm to the idea, but its not like I have any reason to fight against it or anything ~ so I'll just butt out...
I’m indifferent
