Can I stop myself appearing on "Interesting plurkers"? it turns me into a spam-magnet.
I've had 24 people become a fan of me over the course of 18 hours yesterday, between 2am and 8pm approx, UK time. 22 of those were obvious spammers -- users with empty profiles and plurks consisting primarily of commercial links or links to traffic-harvesting or banner-trading sites. The other two were (presumably legitimate) users with whom I've had no prior connection and of whom I've never heard.
I think this is because I appeared on the "Interesting plurkers" page for a while.
So I have two questions:
1. Does Plurk take anti-spam measures seriously?
2. Is there a mechanism whereby I can prevent myself appearing on the "Interesting plurkers" page ever again?

Inappropriate? So I'm the first reply, one week on...
After I used the "contact us" form on Plurk, I had a reply from Alvin Woon as follows:
"we don't display people on the interesting page if they have their privacy setting set to something other than 'Allow the whole world to view my page'."
No middle ground, therefore, allowing a user to be visible-but-not-highlighted.
Consider this as notice: If I have another day like last Thursday, I'll delete my Plurk account.
I’m still cross.
