Find Twitter friends keeps telling my my user/password is invalid
I just joined plurk and wanted to find my twitter friends here. When I saw the option to locate them using my twitter account I thought "sweet!"
Unfortunately, I've tried accessing my twitter account repeatedly from the plurk find friends screen and it keeps telling me to check my username or password. I know I'm entering the correct twitter login info.
Is this feature broken? Anyone else having this problem?

Inappropriate?I tried this the other night (Wednesday night, I think) and it was actually working. It added all the twitter contacts as fans.
(Personally I would have prefered to have the option of friends or fans, but at least it did work.)
Try it again and see if it works for you now. -
Inappropriate?i also am seeing the exact same thing now, 10 days after Kathy Jacobs made the last post.
here is my info on this —
i'm trying to add more friends via twitter in your interface. whenever i go to My Friends > Find/Invite Friends > Find your Twitter friends on Plurk, and put in what i *know* is my correct user name or e-mail for twitter and password (i know i'm doing it correctly, i've typed it over and have tried several times), i get the following erroneous error:
"Whoops, we encountered following problems:
We could not fetch your friends. Please re-check your username and password."
i get this *every* time, even tho' i know i'm typing my info for Twitter in correctly. is this something you know about as a problem and are working on? please advise as soon as possible. thank you.
I’m not happy about this.

Inappropriate?Happening to me too - on different days, computers, web browsers. LAME.
I thought plurk was supposed to be a non-busted version of twitter?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I got the same problem but concerning Gmail... not Twitter. But I guess it's the same difference.

Inappropriate?since kathy jacobs' response, we've had 3 other people reporting the same problem. why isn't plurk responding to this or doing something about it??? helloooooo??!! plurk?! hellooooooooooooo?????
I’m disgruntled
-
Inappropriate?Yeah! It's like come on people. This place is suppose to be for that purpose. simple and straightforward customer support. And so far it looks like nobody except for the troubled ones response to these issues. Come on "employees" say something... At least tell us to sogg off! Anything!
I’m agitated
-
Inappropriate?I can't get plurk to find my friends via gmail...and haven't gotten an answer yet either! grrr
I’m irritated
-
Inappropriate?Wow, I thought plurk was supposed to be the "on the ball" alternative to twitter...
Guess not. I think I'll just stick with twitter - it's WAY more popular anyway.

I’m annoyed

Inappropriate? You don't need to give them your password, if you use the invite friends section from My Friends it asks, but the little Find Twitter Friends in the bottom right doesn't, you can get to that one here:
