Inappropriate?If you don't want your age displayed, don't enter it. Change your birthday to the labels (so it says [Month] [Day] [Year] instead of the actual date) and it won't display your age.

Inappropriate?That's not an intuitive solution - there should be a checkbox in profile settings to block the age display.

maybe just a note/documentation about what not entering it implies would suffice. -

and the age calculated automatically.
so, it's (currently) impossible not showing our age.

It's required during signup, but after that, you can edit your profile and change it to say "Month", "Day", "Year" (basically put them all at the very first setting), and it will remove your age from your profile. Not intuitive, but it is possible.
