How can I follow without the comment spam?
There are users I want to follow, but due to the high amount of commenters they have, I can't follow them. It's too "busy" for my plurk timeline and I end up having to Mark All As Read which is nailing my friends' plurk as well.
Consider the following: Someone is reposting failblog on plurk ( http://www.plurk.com/failblog ). I wouldn't mind getting my daily pictures, but due to the sheer amount of activity among all pictures they plurk, it's impossible.

Inappropriate? This is a brilliant idea! It would be great if, in the privacy settings, you had the ability to auto-mute responses for given timelines. That way you'd see the Plurks, and after having read them, they wouldn't bother you again.
AND, if there was a given Plurk that you ended up wanting to follow the responses on, you could unmute it manually. AND, if you chose to post a response in a given Plurk, then that Plurk would unmute itself automatically too so you could follow the conversation that you chose to participate in.
How's that sound? Plausible?
I’m excited!
