Make Plurks "rise and fall"
Responded Plurks Tab was a great idea. But before you implemented that, I thought it would be great to have Plurks I started or participated in "rise" to the top of the timeline, while others fall below the center line. http://www.plurk.com/p/2qy9d
Somehow, can plurks with @ messages to me show up higher on the bar, as well as messages from people that I tend to plurk to/respond to often? Friends that I interact with or don't message me directly will fall to basement on timeline.

Inappropriate? We currently do some simple things (like looking on the number of responses). But your idea is good as well and I might look more into this.
Thanks for your suggestion.

Inappropriate? This would be extremely helpful in managing my friends lists and our quality conversations.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I like it too. the fact we have 5 (or is it 7) rows that could imply different things could be a handy UI trick. I actually vote one whole row reserved for private plurks too!

Public plurks are much more used than private plurks, so devoting a row for private plurks would be an overkill for most users. Anyway, our current timeline is also limited by slow browsers and I am sure that we in the future with faster browsers can do better rankings / rendering. -
That's true generally. But I have a couple contacts that have a public timeline but 'normally' private plurk to all their friends. It's the only way to pull off a "friends only" plurk that I know of. So I have lots of these in my timeline. -
Inappropriate?I have tweaked timeline ranking so it ranks in the following way:
- unread plurks
- responded plurks
- private plurks
- plurks with most responses
In the future we may revisit this again.

Cool... we'll see how it "feels" now with the changes. -
Inappropriate? The ranking is only applied in some cases thought, since it's affected by the way we render the timeline. It would take some big changes in order to rank much differently.

I think this is one of those, "if you do it right, we won't even notice" situations... because I honestly haven't noticed any change in the way they are sorting/displaying.
