Please add an API for application developers
Title says it all, really. I'd love to be able to extend Plurk by writing applications that touch it, but I can't see a way to do that now. Can we expect an API so that we can develop apps for Plurk?

An API will be made when we have things as stability and performance figured out.

Inappropriate?I'm not a Plurk developer, but I was one of the few really early adopters of Plurk.
Please be patient. Plurk is still in a beta stage. The developers know that people want APIs, but at the moment, I think they rather have a rock solid system than be a service that has tonnes of APIs with an unstable system.
I've been told that APIs are on their todo list.
I’m unconcerned

Inappropriate?I've just released WWW::Plurk - a Perl interface to the unofficial Plurk API.
I’m chuffed

Very wise. Plurk needs to be careful not to make the same mistakes Twitter did (does). Seems like you are more on top of it than they are. -
5 months later, where is it? -
whaaaat is it?
The company implemented this idea.??? -
Not implemented yet.. any prevision? -
Inappropriate? You tagged this as "The company implemented this idea.", but it's not implemented. Dear Plurk, why do you lie?

Inappropriate? When to release the official open API? Every microblog should have open API even the newest one. No open, No AP. I mean it.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Any status on solving the scalability and perf issues? i'd like to fondle your public api with my restful ways :)
I’m anxious for a response

Inappropriate?I really think it's about time Plurk gets on top of producing this. Lack of applications (or a way to create those applications efficiently) is going to really hurt Plurk if it's not already. Creating applications currently requires reverse engineering the Plurk interface, and monitoring for changes that happen still somewhat haphazardly without notice that can break applications overnight.
I’m wishful

Inappropriate?Any progress on this?. i want to make a plurk app or at least widget. i was very bummed out when they guy that made AIR plurker never updated his App and when the guys from .Net Plurker never delivered their App. i thought they were releasing one back when they shipped their iPhone app but the API is nowhere to be seen yet.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Any news on this?
I have an idea for a communications app and would like to put the Plurk service as I use it much.
Having an API would save developers having to hack their way around things.
Perhaps, one of the successes of Twitter is due to the myriad of applications built around it.

hmmm. not for me it seems. it shows a blank page. -
Blank page for me too :( Seems the page doesn't exist. -
There seems to be a page - but it has an empty BODY :-( -
Inappropriate?Ok, http://api.plurk.com/ is now accessible, nut we need urgent this OFFICIAL API. Others microblogging services is growing up just for exist this.
It is very important to create an alternative mode / tools of access to users than website. Somethings like extension for Firefox or Flex apps build in Adobe Air.
Please consider this!!
(sorry for bad english)

Inappropriate?I still don't understand why this is indicated as being "implemented", when it's clearly not...
I’m disappointed.
