Suddenly we are unable to send friend requests or private Plurks. Cosmetic changes have been made and functionality has been DECREASED. Guys... I love Plurk. I don't want to see people leaving out of frustration and irritation because the functionality of the system keeps decreasing while you futz with the "pretty" aspect. FIX this stuff and then, if you really feel the need, futz with the cosmetics of it later... on something OTHER than the live system. Please?
We, the users, have repeatedly made requests such has this and are feeling ignored and abused by the lack of communication and action that has gone on. If you want to kill Plurk just take it down and let it go away. A slow death by inches does nothing but make users leery of anything you may release in the future. Yanno?
None of this is meant as a threat. They're just words you might want to take into consideration. Words that are coming from someone that listens to what those around her are saying and someone who sees a trend in what is going on...

1) Fix the problems that are pissing everyone off now
2) Work on your development processes and come up with something so you aren't testing on live servers
3) Then and only then resume development
This is not rocket science, nor are you guys breaking any new ground when it comes to development methodologies. Many companies have made the same mistakes you are making right now and failed because of it. I don't want to see you fail, but frustration levels are getting to the point that the next little mistake could be the big one.

Inappropriate?We try our very best to solve issues and improve the site. Sometimes bugs happen thought and it's unfortunate. That said, must of the recent issues should be fixed.

Inappropriate?Amir, thank you for the response, but they aren't fixed. Karma still has not moved and my CSS is still wonky. The one I set up months ago is gone, and it isn't saving any changes I make to it.

We had an issue with karma update script. Should be fixed now and you'll get your karma increased very soon :-)
Regarding CSS: I cant' reproduce this issue and only you have reported it. -
Thanks for checking Amir. I was able to reset my CSS now, it wasnt letting me save the changes the past 2 days, it had reverted to a default Plurk image.

Inappropriate?Amir-- Thanks for weighing in and letting us know what's up. I think frustration levels are so high because its been a week full of Plurk errors. I know you guys are starting to feel beat up on but we only gripe because we lurve!
