Side-splitting plurks: frozen in time?
Plurk has a strange little bug that pops up quite frequently for me. It's partially a function of how I use the service (read: chaos-driven catching-up-on-responses), but the effects are pretty deep, so I thought I'd better say something.
Occasionally, I'll be reading a plurk on the far left side of the screen, like so:
I then become interested in a plurk that is far to the right side of the timeline, or even not entirely visible, and click on it:
Notice that although the timeline scrolled enough to view the new plurk, the responses from the most recently viewed plurk are still visible, and disjointed from the topic.
And the worst part is, now the timeline is entirely borked. There's no response whatsoever to clicks, keyboard commands, mousewheel scrolls, anything. Not even the "My Profile" button at the top works. The problem seems to be localized to the timeline – the plurk entry box seems fine, and I can access My Friends, Alerts, etc. – but there's no way to read or respond to existing plurks without refreshing the entire page.

It's a short one, but quite exciting...ooh, what's that over there?
