Timeline Filters: "Plurks I've Participated In" and more
Would like other filters for the timeline...
Specifically "Plurks I have particpated in"
Recently realized that when in a "new responses" batch that the filters apply to just the batch you are looking at. That's great! I can view just "my plurks" that have responses. Others have mentioned it would be great to do this on a filter that contains "any plurks I have been active on". I couldn't agree more.
The upshot to this view filter would be that not responding to a plurk would be a "passive mute"... it would not show up in this filter again the next time you use it, but would still be in your "All Plurks" timeline should it get interesting and you want to start participating.
We could process our unread plurks in order of improtance this way. First being our own plurks (if your are that vain), then ones we are active on, then the all plurks!
Amix also asked about timeline-catchup issues/feelings in a Plurk, so a good time to post this suggestion.
For a second Filter suggestion:
"Muted Plurks".
This would only be individual muted plurks, not unfollowed friends or blocked users. When hiding things it's always nice to have a view that un-hides them to easily allow for reverting. I haven't deployed cliques yet so I don't know if these have filters already, but they should.

Inappropriate?Afterthought: The current behavior of dropping "new plurks" into whatever filter you are looking at, although perhaps useful with this minimal set of filters, would somewhat break the functionality of a more complete set of filters. I'd much prefer the better filtering, and "new plurks" should probably by default change your filter back to the "All Plurks" timeline.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Afterthought 2: Each plurk VERB should be a SUB-FILTER too. I want to click [shares] anywhere it appears and have my current filter drop everything but those verb'd plurks. How to best undo verb-filtering is for plurk A-team to figure out. ;-)
I’m thinking too much

Inappropriate?Prior almost duplicate of the primary post I did not catch with GS's quick-search feature:

I’m sorry, whoops

Inappropriate?I like these ideas and would like to expand on the "mute" filter a bit. It would be nice to have a filter that allows you to look at only those conversations that are either muted or unmuted. Typically, I will mute something if it has reached its course, or if it is merely a "Good morning!" type plurk. I leave interesting or preferred plurks unmuted.
I’m confident

this is one of the best points

I agree. Having a "what's muted" view is essential to being able to use that tool/feature with more recklessness... cleaning up your normal view... but giving you piece of mind that it's all still there if you need to go dig it up again.
With this view filter "muted" plurks could even be removed from the "All Plurks" timeline too. Currently they only disappear from updates regarding responses. -
Inappropriate?FYI, request partially implemented with
"Responded Plurks" tab.
