Democracy Player feed issues
my podcatcher software downloads strange filenames from feeds eg.
PB-ForeverFifteen-02.mp3-nvb=20080603221205&nva=20080604221205&t=0aca0104dfaf35e7e3227
because it is not ending with mp3 (or any other extension that it knows how to play) it refuses to play. The files are good as when i rename them they play, but then there are 2 entries for the file - one from the feed and the renamed file. I am using Democracy Player 0.9.1 on debian etch.

Not a feed issue, but a hosting issue. Unsure why, but Libsyn is appending the strange names on the back end. We've asked them why, as I'm sure lots of other media producers have done. iTunes seems to handle this without an issue, but I'm sure some of the smaller podcatchers are giving problems. We'll find out more.

Inappropriate?looks like it's a program problem and not a feed problem.
I have upgraded to the latest build. Miro 1.2 (r6612)
i had hoped to stay in the distribution to get security patches. but at least it's working now. -
Inappropriate?I'm using Juice (on XP) as my podcatcher and am getting the same file naming change, which has only occurred in the last week or so. Not really a problem for me, as I rename all the files anyway. Does suggest it's a feed issue though.
