Double share episode 8, 15 & 17 will not download
I tried my personal feed and the public share feed. I tried downloading the files through Firefox and MediaMonkey. They both fail to download the files.

All working well this morning for me. Betting you tried to download all of the episodes in the feed at once. I've seen that throw errors for folks in the past. At any rate, if you try again this morning (I was on the book's page, but all the links in the feeds hit the same files) it should be fine.1 Comment

Hi Evo, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I wasn't trying to download all of the files at once. I had my personal feed subscribed to in MediaMonkey, downloading one episode per day. The occasional episode would fail to download, but the personal feed must have recognised the attempted download and released the next episode on the following day. The episodes that originally failed to download (8, 15 & 17) have continued to fail when I try to manually download them. The doubleshare book personal feed is now complete, but I still cannot download the 3 missing files. I've been trying to download these files for a week or two now. I tried again after receiving your reply, but it still does not work. Firefox reports an unknown error, MediaMonkey reports "a wininet error #12029 (Cannot Connect)" error, which I am sure means absolutely nothing! -

Odd that it works for me when I download directly from the book's page. It sounds like a caching problem to me. I have no idea how to fix it in MediaMonkey, but it's fixable in FF by clearing out your Private Data (Preferences > Privacy > Clear now) and restarting your browser. Then go back to http://podiobooks.com/title/double-share and manually download the missing episodes.

Still no luck. I even tried using IE to download the files, but I get a "failed to connect to server" error. I'd blame it on the computers internet connection, but it doesnt make sense being only 3 of 25 files. All of the other episodes download through MM, FF & IE without any problems. I even tried it on another PC without success! Oh well, my last shot is to try the download when I get home.
