itunes download problem
I haven't had anything coming in to my itunes by itself from you for over a month. I've been listening to books that I checked out of the library on CD hoping the problem would resolve itself. I'm not sure what to do. I have 'every day' selected for release, and the books are complete, but the feed still says
Current episode in feed: Part 0 of 21.
Next episode: Part 1 of 21 on next podcatcher refresh.
(I also have a 'current episode part 1 of... and that's not in my itunes folders either.)
The only way I get anything is to click on 'release additional episode', and then going back to refresh but even this doesn't work all the time. To get the release to work, I have to click on subscribe in itunes again. Have I done something wrong? I got my first few books without problems and LOVED them.
If you need to know the books, it's Arwen part 3, Full share, Beautiful Red, Playing for Keeps. I've listened to everything I've got (and have even donated to the best ones). I'd love to keep going. Your service is GREAT and I regularly recommend it to others.

It looks like our system hasn't recorded your downloading of the episodes. So that we don't overload you with episodes, we'll only follow you "every day" instructions when we know you've downloaded the prior episodes.
For South Coast, Double Share & Children of the Old Stars, our system doesn't know that you've downloaded the first episode. So it's holding releasing the second one until that happens.
For Arwen 3, it's paused on #2 for the same reason. And it happened with Full Share at #8. And Beautiful Red is stalled at #5.
On occasion, we've seen something like this happen. We're not sure what's doing it, as it looks like a communication problem between your podcatcher and our system. But there are ways to get around the problem.
Since you're getting books that are complete, you may wish to skip the custom feed method all together. On your My Subscriptions page at the bottom of each book you are subscribe to, you'll see a "Traditional RSS Feed" section. That feed contains every episode of the book. If you subscribe to that in iTunes, you can download the whole all episodes without waiting. And that sounds like what you may want to do, having so many books.
The second option, should you like the downloads to happen for you, is to "try that again". Cancel your subscription to one of the titles giving you a problem. Then go to iTunes and delete the feed. Then return to our site and re-subscribe. Then click the iTunes link on the My Subscription page. That *should* cause the first file to download. When you verify that, change your frequency to "every day" and see if it downloads fine tomorrow. If so -- and it should -- repeat the process with the other books giving you a problem.

Inappropriate?P.S. Evo, now that I know I can get the whole book at once, I'm going to leave the ones I'm not ready for yet as 0 of __ downloaded. I don't want to forget which ones I've chosen. I didn't want you to think there was still a problem! I've already got the best of the lot, Full Share and The Immortals.
