Singularity! Why do the Files jump in Size?
Singularity, using ITUNES, in OS X Leopard. Chapter 13, file size went from 12.1 MB in the window to 33.6 MBs downloaded the files but the play really slowly, garbled speech.
Unsubscribed, & deleted the corrupted files & then re Subscribe & updated the podcast. Went to download the chapters & files went to 33.6 MBs yet on the FEED Page for users the files indicate 12.1 MB. However when started to download Ch. 13 & files size jumps to 33.6 MB.
Wouldn't be a problem if the files aren't corrupted, & if I was on Hi Speed, however being on Dial up this really bogs down the process.

Inappropriate?Gah! That sounds terrible. I've contacted the hosting company to try and straighten things out. Sit tight until I hear back from them and can verify that they've made the fix.

Inappropriate?The media host (Libsyn, great guys) updated all the files and report that things are working normally. They also think they've found the problem and will be making further investigations and code fixes. This issue could come back (here and on other books), so your patience is appreciated. Report away when things don't work right.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem with some episodes.
Downloaded them all yesterday - 22nd April and tried again today.
I have the huge file size and slow playback on episode 1 (prologue), 6, and 15-31 except 29. I haven't tried downloading any more than that.

Inappropriate?The problem have returned. I downloaded chapter 32 today. It is 34 MB, not 12 as it should be, and is VERY low pitch. -
