Inappropriate? We've been re-organizing the My Subscriptions page to make it easier to understand for folks new to podcasting. We have a few more tweaks to make, but we're getting there. A few folks who have become accustomed to the "old" way of doing things have been a bit confused, so you're not along.
When you add a new title to your My Subscriptions page, you'll see a very large box that says "Listen on YOUR schedule". Then you'll see a series of icons that will get you to your custom feed. The one all the way to the right -- an orange square with curved lines -- is the universal icon for an RSS feed. Click that and add it to Juice. Or any other podcatcher.

Inappropriate?Lately I no longer see the icon to subscribe to a book using Juice, my favorite podcatcher. Furthermore, despite what the Faqs say (Visit the My Subscriptions page. Cut and paste the "Your Personal Feed" URL into the podcatcher of your choice) the feed is no longer visible on the My Subscriptions page. Faqs also say "If that fails, go to the "Podcast directory" tab, then cut and paste your Personalized Feed into the box", but there is no such tab on the website that I can find.
I found Evo Terra's explanation and "solution" but I think he got it wrong or didn't take the time to finish it when he says simply "click on that and add it to Juice". I still don't see the feed and therefore, don't know how to just "add it to Juice".
So they are trying to simplify things for newbies and are alienating their regular customers. Not well thought out. -
Inappropriate?Spencer,
Our intention was never to alienate regular customers. We assumed -- perhaps incorrectly -- that users of Juice would know to simply click the big orange box (that's the standard RSS icon) to the left of the "add to..." icons, copy the URL from the new page displayed in your browser, and use that to add to Juice.
What we may not have realized was that some people didn't understand the "subscribing" mechanism with Juice and really can't add anything manually. So we many need to go back and add that.
FWIW, I put some images up the process of adding things manually with Juice on another post about this very topic. It's here: http://getsatisfaction.com/podiobooks...
I’m hopeful we'll figure this out.
