Inappropriate?Dear Henk
Sorry to hear about your troubles. There might be several reasons and solutions to this. We experience that a poken is recognized in let's say 98% of the cases. If it is not recognized, it could be that the USB port is not functioning correctly, or the computer is too hot. While trying to reproduce the bug it happened once for us that Windows Vista treated the poken as a device it had to install. It could not install it as there is no software to do so (pre-installed in all pokens, no need to install). After re-inserting the poken in the same USB port it was recognized immediately. It is for these reasons that we think it is unlikely that there is a problem with the poken no more than any other USB device for that matter.
Please try to re-insert it in the same USB port, or a different one on your laptop/computer. Have you also inserted it into another laptop/computer? If the poken still does not work on all these alternatives, then it is possible that it is defective.
Please let me know how it goes! :)
Cheers
I’m confident
