Reset a Poken that's stuck on Red?
Sometmes a Poken that has been working fine gets stuck on Red (possibly after Poken kids have been playing with the button). When pokening it always flashes red three times, and cannot seem to be reset to green by pressing the button with any series of double single long or short clicks. If you remove and replace the battery it returns to green. What's up?

Inappropriate? We had this on 5 / 100 Poken recently at a large event - and are still receiving complaints and returned Poken today, please help.
I’m unhappy

Inappropriate?Hi Tim
As suggested previously in an email, it is very llikely that those pokens which flash red have reached the threshold of 64 contacts. A poken cannot save more than those 64 contacts, so once this amount is reached, it flashes red when trying to poken some more. It seems very likely that this is happening in your case because you are mentioning them being used at a large event.
To 'fix' this, simply connect those pokens with a computer and upload the collected contacts, so storage space is freed again on the device.
Can you confirm that this is what is happening?
Cheers,
Simone
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Sorry Simone - please reopen. This has happened again last week. It is definately not the 64 contact warning. This is happening with fresh new Poken Sparks. Again removing the battery nand replacing it seems to fix it - this would not fix the problem if it was the 64 contact threshold.
I’m still puzzled

(for some reason getsatisfaction only lets me mark this item as answered or 'does not need an answer' - i can not re-open unfortunately. just fyi :-)) -
Inappropriate? No problem, just as long as we find out what this is? Found another today, Sparks only so far, maybe V2?
