How can I center column headings in a matrix choice? For example, the choices are Strongly Agree, Agree, No Opinion, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree.

Inappropriate?Harold, column headings are positioned based on the templates that you are using. The templates available on Pollograph now are left aligned. You may like to use your custom CSS stylesheet to have them center aligned.

Inappropriate? If I knew what a CSS stylesheet was, and how I could create one, then it would be - problem solved! For the moment, you're telling me I'm stuck.
On some lines, I get Strongly Agree, but on other lines, I get Agree under Strongly (ie, it's spread over two lines). If there was just a way of putting in tabs!
FLASH: I just found the CSS Home Page here http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/

Inappropriate?Harold, the table which styles your survey is fluid, causing cells of each table to follow the longest length of text in the column. There is a way to ensure that text stays in each line through CSS ("look up white-space: none;") but that'd be too restrictive.
However if that's what you want, you can link up your own custom CSS file. I'd recommend it only if you are comfortable with CSS, or else you might want to keep to one of our templates.
