Porsche's brand moving downscale along with their models?
Lately, I've noticed Cayenne's with dings on them, as you typically find on cars parked in cities. I can't recall ever seeing a 911 with a ding. In moving downscale and producing everyday cars, I think Porsche might be devaluing its brand. Anyone agree or disagree?

Inappropriate? The simple answer to your question is: NO.
Porsche doesn't control the cars after they leave the showroom. The company does, however, provide a comprehensive range of top-quality sportscars and aguably the only true SPORT utility vehicle on the market. The high level of engineering in their fine vehicles, which therefore costs more than inferior car manufacturers will charge, prove that Porsche is NOT moving downmarket.
You might politely tell your neighbor that he should take better care of his vehicle (no matter what brand). -
Inappropriate?Disagree. I have a 911 which I USE... people are more considerate of the sports cars I think but, I'm getting rock hits to the front, and windshield, no dings yet but If I get some no worries! when the time comes, I'll either get a new one or have it painted and replace the windshield.
But, Porsches are meant to be enjoyed and not worried over...
