Deleting from Local does not delete from server
Deleting emails from PostBox for my Yahoo POP account does not seem to delete the email from the server?
Leave messages on the server - until I delete them = This option should delete emails on the sever - I am tired of double bookkeeping.

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet but I am testing against a gmail POP server not a yahoo POP account.
A couple questions:
1) I assume you are using a Yahoo Mail Plus account which comes with POP3 access?
2) and just to confirm: tools / account settings /< your yahoo pop account> / server
has the following options checked:
[X] Leave messages on server
[X] Until I delete them

Inappropriate?I have this same issue with my hotmail accounts. I delete emails and they are NOT deleted from the server. Also my sent emails are not copied to the sent folders on the server either.1 Comment

This solves the problem

**Edit** Not sure why it didn't do it before...but now when I delete emails it updated the server. I may have been because I was logged into the account at the same time on my browser.
