Dimensions setting for image in signature are not persistent

In my signature I use a JPG image (company logo). When editing the signature, double-clicking on the image opens a tabbed window, where you can set the dimensions for the image. I've set this to "Custom Size", however, every time I launch Postbox, the setting is changed back to "Actual Size". How can I prevent this?
