Dock badge counter not working at all
The badge counter for the icon in the doc simply does not work. It never updates to show new mail. I notice that there seem to be a lot of issues surrounding the badge count here.

Inappropriate?I second this.
It's really important for me as I always minimize email application so that I can focus on my work.
Also, I occasionally leave my desk and I want to know right away how many emails are in my inbox without having to open the app.

Inappropriate?We're going to change up the dock badge to only show unread messages in the inbox instead of the new messages as this seems to be a much more natural value for folks coming over from Mail.app. So expect some changes here in the very near future!
