Googlemail folders are different from gmail's
the default preferences for gmail isn't useful with a german "googlemail.com" account. There folder structure is different. E.g. in german's gmail it's not [gmail]/Spam, it's [googlemail]/Spam. Please fix this, thanks! Anyway, it's a great program!

We actually have a separate configuration option for googlemail. Once we start shipping localized versions of the product, locales that use googlemail will ship with that account set up information instead of gmail.
So fixing this will probably have to wait for locale support. -
Inappropriate?This problems described above results in Postbox adding labels to my German Googlemail that I dont want.
My question is this: can the problem with different labels in different locations be solved before there are completely localized versions? -

and change the folders to ones appropriate for googlemail in your locale (assuming they exist already of course!)
Namely the folders in Copies & Folders and the archive/trash settings under Server Settings.
