Inappropriate?Hi Lin,
Thanks for trying Postbox.
We plan on supporting add-ons before we are all said and done and once we do you'll be able to use the PGP extension.

Great news! Thanks! I'm in a good mood now :-) -
Inappropriate?"...you'll be able to use the PGP extension."
So, what is the progress toward GPG / PGP integration into Postbox? What "PGP extension" are you referring to?
I've seen and heard of no PGP/GPG capabilities or plans whatsoever, and Postbox has now been released.
I’m frustrated

Hi Guys,
We've put together a test version of enigmail for Postbox. Looking for a couple volunteers familiar with enigmail to kick the tires on it. If it looks good we'll push it out to folks.
You can get the test add-on here:
Enigmail for Postbox - Mac OS X
Enigmail for Postbox - Windows -
Inappropriate?Hi Scott,
Thanks very much for addressing this need. :) I really appreciate it, and I'm sure others do too.
I just installed the enigmail add-on you provided, and it decrypts the emails I tried just fine. More testing to come, but I had one problem during setup.
One bug:
- To recreate, go to OpenPGP, Key Management
- Select File, Import Keys from File...
- Select a key file (like prikey.asc)
When you select a key to import, it displays as one long horizontal line, with the entire key displayed on one line, extending way off both sides of the screen, and you can't see the available button(s). It needs to be formatted so it fits on a normal screen and the button(s) can be seen.
Thanks again.
Lee
(using the Mac version)
I’m thankful

thanks a lot for the feedback Lee. I'll look into your bug report to see if it is an issue with Postbox or just something in enigmail... -
Inappropriate?This is minor:
When viewing encrypted messages as a "conversation" it appears encrypted, and you are given no opportunity to decrypt (no button appears, etc.) until you expand the conversation and click on an individual message from the conversation.
When you collapse the conversation, even right after entering your GPG password to view one message from it, the conversation appears as encrypted garbage.
Conversations in general:
I'm not sure if its related, but now that I look at it, this "conversation" contains messages with different subjects, all with a subject that BEGINS with the same mailman listserv label in square brackets, like this: "[MyMailList] Theemailsubject" but the messages aren't actually related... Could this be a problem with Postbox's conversation detection?
