Images do not display in HTML emails.
Images are not displaying in HTML email. I've tried setting mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image to both true and false in the config editor and neither setting seems to work. I did notice that clicking 'Edit' on the email loaded the HTML and images just fine. See below.

Inappropriate?Thanks for reporting this. Does this happen on every message with remote content for you? After you select a message with remote content, can you go to Tools / Error Console and report any errors shown there?
This is working for me in beta 11 for both imap and local messages.
I get a big bar across the top of the message header bar that says this message contains remote content:

Yes it happens on all messages with remote content. I do not see the yellow message bar in your screenshot. There are no errors in the console. Any other suggestions?
btw: I'm using version 1.0b11 (2009041623) -

Issue solved. It appears I had changed the view to plain text with View > Message Body As > Plain Text expecting this to be a one time, per message setting, and not something that was persistent across multiple messages. My mistake, sorry.
