Impossible to unsubscre folders in GMail
I would like to unsubscribe some GMail folders in order to avoid duplicate mail locally. But even if I cancel the flag corresponding to the folder in the Subscribe command, I still continue to download the mail. Any suggestion?

So you unsubscribe from the folders via our subscribe UI, close the subscribe dialog the folders don't disappear from the folder tree in the main 3-pane window? -
Inappropriate?I'm having this problem, too, but with MobileMe. When I view the subscribe dialog for the account, it shows the folders that I don't want to be subscribed to as unsubscribed. But they are visible in the folders window pane.

can you go to tools / account settings / mobile me account / server settings
/ advanced
and then make sure [X] show only subscribed folders
is checked.
