MinimizeToTray causes 2 windows to open
When I open Postbox from the Start Menu shortcut (as in All Programs > Postbox > Postbox), the application opens as usual. I let it set itself as my default mail program, so now in the Start Menu under 'Mail' it shows Postbox. However, when I double-click on this shortcut (the 'Mail' one pinned at the top of the start menu), two Postbox windows appear (though under Task Manager only one instance of Postbox.exe is running).
It would seem that the Minimize to Tray add-on for Postbox is causing this problem. Is this handled by the Postbox team or should I contact the author of the Minimize to Tray add-on?

Inappropriate?I get a similar problem. I have a Postbox icon in my Quick Start bar (Windows Vista Home Premium) and everytime I start up the program by clicking this icon, two instances of the program start up at the same time, and I have to delete one.

Inappropriate?Do you see this with other apps that use the minimize to tray add-on such as Firefox?

No. Just Postbox. -
Inappropriate?I am having the same issue. When the Minimize to Tray extension is installed and enabled, Postbox always opens two instances when I open the program from Windows, no matter which combinations of options are selected in the Minimized to Tray options. The only exception to this occurrence is when I enable the Minimize to Tray extension in the Addons dialog, and press "Restart PostBox" from that dialog. In this case, only one instance is run. I am running, obviously, beta 14.

Inappropriate? One more thing...I tested the extension for FF 3.5 (which must be shoot-off of the regular Minimize to Tray that was made b/c the original author has not yet updated his extension for FF 3.5). Anyhow, I did not get the same issue. Only one instance was opened.

Inappropriate? This extension works perfectly for me in Thunderbird but does the two window thing for me in Postbox.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I only have this problem if I open Postbox by going Start>E-Mail (the button near the top that can be assigned to a primary email client). Usually I open Postbox with Launchy which does not create this problem which is odd since Launchy populates its shortcuts db based on the start menu.
I’m undecided
