netbook support

hi,
i jumped on that netbook hype and i'm quite happy with my 10.2" screen. so i'm in need of a small, fast mailclient with a slim ui.
postbox is fast enough for me (with the "minimize to tray" addon ;)

but i have about two lines of mail in my preview so my question / ideas:

- can you add a new chrome or add some extended functionality to drop some of the windows and buttons like the "from" bar and those naggy asking bars about remote images?
- though really useful - i don't really use the tab support. my screen is wide but not that high. maybe the tabs would fit better on the left under "folders"
- then, in thunderbird there's a function to use a "small" icon set which in postbox is really rather a big one ;)
- maybe icons and pictures might maximize on hover but this would go too far i think :)
