New mail no longer "new" after mail filter execution
New messages which are moved by filter rules do not appear as new in their new folder locations.
I receive a large number of messages sent to the entire campus. I have mail filters, imported form Thunderbird, which automatically move the messages to certain folders based on the message content. However, with Postbox, the messages are no longer marked as "new" once the filter has moved the message.
So, I'll know when Postbox has received a message, but I'll have no idea what folder the message is hiding in, because the message is now marked "read". (A "new" message would cause its parent folder to become bold)

Inappropriate?Just to be clear, the message loses it's read status or it's unseen / new status when the filter moves it.
Can you make sure your filter rule is not changing the read field? I just did a simple test with a filter that moves messages with the subject "test" to a folder called "bar'. When new mail came in, the message was moved and the unread count on that folder changed. -
Inappropriate? After filtering into folders, messages remain "Unread" (bold), but they have no indication of being "New". Thunderbird highlighted in blue folders containing New messages. This highlight disappeared only when that folder was viewed.
The current system is useless to me as there are dozens of folders with Unread messages in them (i.e. bold), but I really need to see which ones have New messages in them.
